Problem:
Signature or other email elements are displaying smaller or larger on the Surface.
Solution:
This happens when the display options are set wrong on the Surface. There are two options.
Option 1: A Surface displaying on 1 or 2 External Monitors (with the Surface monitor NOT being used as a 2nd or 3rd monitor)
If you choose this option, you will need to set your Surface display to “Disconnected”.
To do so, right-click on your desktop. Select “Display settings”
You can click “Identify” to determine which number your monitors are.
Select the monitor that has been identified as your Surface monitor. (In this example it’s 1)
There is a dropdown below that lets you change how that monitor is used. Select “Disconnect this display”
Then click “Apply”
Option 2: A Surface displaying on 1 or 2 External Monitors AND the Surface monitor
If you choose this option, you will need to set your Surface display to NOT be the main display.
To do so, right-click on your desktop. Select “Display settings”
You can click “Identify” to determine which number your monitors are.
Select a monitor that is NOT your Surface monitor. If the “Make this my main display” checkbox is not checked, check it.
Then click “Apply”
