This is almost always 1 of 2 things.
- Do they have an L: drive and is it active (i.e. no red ‘X’ on it in Windows Explorer)?
- Do they have a LAD Revit.ini file?
Use typical drive troubleshooting techniques to resolve first issue.
For the second issue, LAD custom Revit .ini files are stored here: \\ladco\shares\software\Autodesk\Resources\Revit\Custom\Revit-OneDrive\appversion\INI ... where appversion is the specific version of Revit.
The Revit.ini file should be copied to two locations:
- C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\appversion\UserDataCache
- C:\users\username\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\Revit\appversion
It's up to you whether or not you want to overwrite the existing files or keep backups before copying - depending on how confident you feel that day! ;)
The copy in the UserDataCache folder is the important one. When a new user launches Revit on a given machine, a user profile is created in the AppData folder and the Revit.ini file in the UserDataCache folder is copied to the user profile folder.
