Installing Printer B in the OMA Mailroom for Custom Defaults (Windows 7)

  1. Install printer B from \\omamps
  2. Then go back to installing printers from the Control Panel.
  3. Select Add a network, wireless, or Bluetooth printer. Click Next.

  4. Select Add a Device. Then click on “The printer I want isn’t listed”.

  5. Select Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname. Click Next.

  6. Leave Device Type as “Autodetect”. Type the hostname as 10.1.9.211. This will also populate the Port name. Ensure the Query box is checked. Press Next.

  7. Click Next. We will change the driver later.

  8. Change the name to Printer B.

  9. Select Do not share this printer.

  10. Typically you will want to uncheck the default printer option. Click Finish.

  11. In the Devices and Printers window, right click Printer B and choose Printer properties.

  12. Go to the Advanced tab. Then on the Driver drop down, choose Canon iPR Svr F200 C800 v1.1 US and choose Apply.

  13. More tabs will appear. Go to the Configuration tab.
    1. From the Available Options list, select the following in this order (one by one – can’t do all at the same time):
      1. Saddle finisher-AM2
      2. 2/3 holes (puncher unit-BS1)
      3. High capacity stacker-G1
      4. Multi-drawer paper deck-B1
    2. Click OK

The printer has been installed and configured.
