Install ArcGIS from Software Center  


After installation: 


ArcGIS Administrator Wizard will appear


  1. Select the type of license the user wants
  2. Define a license manager now: NDCLS4 
  3. Press OK




After OK:


  • This message will appear



To Change the License: 


  • Go to ArcGIS Administrator
  • Desktop
  • The choose which license is needed



Alternative Method (registry):


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\ESRI\License10.x (where x is the version number)
