The ClickShare hockey puck switches cannot connect to the base unit. These instructions are for the CSE-200 unit.
- If restarting the base unit does not resolve the problem, then do a factory reset.
- Factory reset is done by a button on the back next to the 12 volt DC power adapter connection. Insert a paper clip in the recessed button and hold until the power indicator light starts flashing. Let go.
- After the unit comes back up, you will have to re-pair both switch buttons (hockey pucks). Insert them one at a time into the FRONT USB port. If you have the monitor on and connected to the Barco ClickShare screen, you will see a notification and progress bar on how the pairing is going.
- See if the ClickShare buttons will work after this. If not, try downloading the latest firmware from Barco.
- Extract the Zip file.
- Rename the .enc file to: clickshare_firmware.enc and copy to a USB flashdrive.
- Insert flashdrive into the front USB port.
- After the firmware update is installed, you will have to update the button switches by using the process in step 3.
