• We have home use licenses for the 2019 versions of the Building Design Suite Premium, Building Design Suite Ultimate and Infrastructure Design Suite Premium. You will need to find out what the requester is looking for specifically because some programs are only on certain Suites – you can use this link to give you an idea of what is included in each suite…disregard the AEC Collection
  • Once the requester determines the suite they need (no, they don’t need them all – regardless of what they may believe) either Kevin Busacker or Chuck Joines can provide you with the license info – the current home use licenses will expire on 08/20/2019
  • If the requestor leaves the company, they are responsible to uninstall the software from their home computer as it is in violation of the software license to continue to use it even if still active
  • For the requester to do the suite download, they need to sign into their company associated Autodesk account (check and confirm they have one – we can create one if needed) – if they have forgotten their password (it may – and should - be different than their network password), they can use the FORGOT? for assistance – we cannot reset it for them
  • If the requestor insists on the AEC Collection (other collections are outside the scope of any potential licensing we may have in the future), then they can download the 30 day trial direct from Autodesk but it will not be licensed and will expire at the end of 30 days – it CANNOT be installed on a company computer – we do NOT have any licensing for it

Caveats:

  • First and foremost…NEVER under ANY circumstance can we install home use software on a company computer. If the requestor wants the home use, they have to install it themselves and then only on their own home computer
  • We do not have any licenses for the Autodesk Collections (formerly Suites)…maybe in June or so but not now and no way to get one
