FAQ: My soft phone won’t ring on all my devices – what should I do?

Please go to the gear icon:  

  1. Choose File  
  2. Choose Options
  3. Choose Self Care Portal
    1. Click on Open Self Care
    2. Log in using your username and password
    3. This is the same username and password that you log into your computer every day.

  4. Choose the IM & Availability tab
    1. Uncheck the box next to “Turn on”

  5. Close this web window
  6. Sign out of Jabber and then log back in
Your phone should now ring in your headset as well as your computer.  


If it does not, check the following:


  • Gear icon – File – Options – Audio – Ringer/Alerts: All Devices
