Signing into Projectwise Cloud Connection
To be able to use the new Projectwise Cloud Connection, you must first sign into two locations as follows.
CONNECTION Client – In order to use any Bentley product you have to be signed into the Bentley CONNECTION client (it should pop up in the lower right hand corner when you sign into your system)
- Sign into that using your company email address) - this has to be done before signing into Projectwise – (if the login block doesn't open automatically, you can find it under Start -> CONNECTION client -> CONNECTION client)
- It uses our Microsoft authentication so you can just enter your email address and then select Sign In...this will open a second window telling you to select your Microsoft account (there may also be additional windows needing selections for Work account and to enter your password) – once you have done this one time, it will remember your login and automatically sign in when you log into Windows
- the Projectwise login screen is also different than with prior versions – first, the data source should be set to Leo A Daly Prod
- the Authentication should be set to Bentley IMS
- check the Use Windows Single Sign-On for Authentication box to enable it
