1. When an employee gets married or divorced, their name change has to be processed in the right manner to make sure all areas of IT are sufficiently changed.
  2. Vantagepoint profile is updated by Corporate Human Resources - an alert is sent to Service Desk team.
  3. Service Desk team should copy the information in the alert and create a name change ticket in the service desk ticketing environment.
  4. Tasks should be assigned appropriately to change the following:



  • AD account needs to be updated to display the new name and create new username for login
  • Email account needs to be changed to the new name (HR will update Deltek Vantagepoint)
  • Vantagepoint Security user account needs the username updated to the new last name
  • O365/Exchange account needs to be updated
  • Update WebEx account
  • configure phone/Cisco account for name change
  • Verify all name changes are completed and employee can log in properly with new username before closing the ticket.

Ask Sys admin to force name change: EX:
