- Open Computer and navigate to C:\Windows\SysWOW64. Double-click odbcad32.exe to run the application. If Win 10, you may need to right click and use the Run as Administrator option
- Select the System DSN tab, before creating any new data sources, and delete or edit the existing LIB7 and PSI7 (if either exist), don't delete TRCDSN datasource.
- Select Add, then select A.S.A. 7.0 TRACE then select Finish. If A.S.A. 7.0 TRACE is not available, it will be necessary to re-install the TRACE Client.
- For the Data Source Name, type LIB7 or edit.
- Select the Login tab, for the User ID enter Trane and for the password enter TRANE.
- Select the Database tab

Enter TRACE for the Server Name

For the Database name, type Library

For the database uncheck Automatically shut down database after last disconnect
- Select the Network Tab

Check TCP/IP box
-
Type DoBroadcast=None;Host=<ServerName> in the TCP/IP box
- Click OK to finish adding the LIB7 datasource, if you are prompted to replace an existing datasource select Yes.
- On the System DSN tab, select Add, then select A.S.A. 7.0 TRACE then select Finish.
- For the Data Source Name, type PSI7.
- Select the Login tab, for the User ID enter dba and for the password enter sql.
- Select the Database tab

Enter TRACE for the Server Name

For the Database name, type PSI

for the Database, uncheck Automatically shut down database after last disconnect
- Select the Network Tab

Check TCP/IP box

Type DoBroadcast=None;Host=<ServerName> in the TCP/IP box
- Click OK to finish adding the PSI7 datasource, if you are prompted to replace an existing datasource select Yes.
