Three items for any AutoCAD/Civil 3D users (while you are logged-in):
Custom Profiles
In each active version of CAD you are using:
- Run OPTIONS command.
- Select PROFILES tab.
- EXPORT your personal profile to an .ARG file to a folder where you can then import on your new computer. We recommend exporting to your “Documents>autodesk>autocad” folder
Custom Keyboard Shortcuts
If you customize keyboard shortcuts using Alias editor (only small percentage do this)
- Make a copy of “C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\AutoCAD 2018\R22.0\enu\support” to copy to same folder on your new computer.
Custom Toolbars
If you have created custom toolbars:
- Copy those files to a location to where they are accessible on your new computer. We recommend your “Documents>autodesk>autocad>menus” folder.
