This issue is due to Masterworks being out of date in conjuction with office's latest update.
you'll want to make sure that word is closed on the user's computer
In order to update masterworks, go to the following:
\\ladco\shares\software\MasterSpecs\
Pick a folder based on the location this issue pertains to (for this example OMA)
Open up the .exe in order to update Masterworks to the latest known version
follow the default prompts for the program setup
And Masterworks should now be updated to the latest version and working properly
