Lumion 7.5 Pro and Lumion 8.0 Pro: OSM Patch
As you might have heard in our recent newsletter, we're switching to a different OpenStreetMap data provider on January 31st, 2018.
If you want to download OpenStreetMap models in Lumion 7.5 Pro or Lumion 8.0 Pro from now on, you need to install the hotfix below.

Instructions:
1. Quit Lumion if it's already open.
2. Download the .ZIP file for your Lumion version via the download links above (Lumion 7.5 Pro or Lumion 8.0 Pro). Don’t unzip, extract or do anything with the .ZIP file yet.
3. Next, locate the Lumion installation folder for your version (Lumion 7.5 Pro or Lumion 8.0 Pro).
The default locations for Lumion 7.5 and 8.0 respectively are as follows:
C:\Program Files\Lumion 7.5
C:\Program Files\Lumion 8.0
There are several ways to do this depending on your operating system. Here’s an example using Windows 8.1 and the File Explorer search:
·A. Locate and open your computer’s File Explorer.
·B. Locate the File Explorer’s search function and type in your Lumion version.
·C. Click and open the appropriate folder for your Lumion version. You should see a file structure for the folder that Lumion is installed in which looks like this:
4. Move the .ZIP file to the Lumion installation folder (Lumion 7.5 Pro or Lumion 8.0 Pro) that you opened. You can drag and drop (such as in the screen capture below) or copy-paste the file.
5. Right-click on the .ZIP file and choose 'Extract here' (or whatever the option is called in your ZIP application).
6. If everything was done correctly, Windows will ask you if you want to overwrite four existing files. Simply click on the OK button to overwrite those files. When it's done, delete the .ZIP file.
7. Start Lumion and test the OpenStreetMap function.
