If you receive an error message when opening RAM file (.rss) that states "Could not copy file *filename* in directory", there is an issue with the content in the Working directory on the C drive.

RAM files are like Zip files and extract their content to "C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Engineering\RAM Structural System\Working" when working on a file.

The message can appear if there is old content from the file being previously opened. Renaming or deleting the old content will allow the file to extract the data again and open.
